Splitting and Merging

Splitting

Splitting is the process of separating a combined strategy into two distinct strategies (limited to one new strategy per split operation). The splitting conditions are as follows:

  • The current strategy satisfies AvailableBalance0AvailableBalance \geq 0 and MMRatio<100%MMRatio < 100\%;
  • Contracts have not entered into the state of expiration settlement.

Merging

Merging is the process of consolidating two strategies into a single strategy (limited to one new strategy per merge operation). The merging conditions are as follows:

  • Only positions of the same currency can be merged;
  • After merging, the strategy satisfies AvailableBalance>0AvailableBalance > 0 and MMRatio<100%MMRatio < 100\%;
  • Contracts have not entered into the state of expiration settlement.
  • The position size for a single merged position cannot exceed the maximum position limit (10,000 BTC, 100,000 ETH);
  • If there are netting positions to be matched during the merge, they will be netted off at the mark price, and no fees will be generated.
