Splitting and Merging
Splitting
Splitting is the process of separating a combined strategy into two distinct strategies (limited to one new strategy per split operation). The splitting conditions are as follows:
- The current strategy satisfies and ;
- Contracts have not entered into the state of expiration settlement.
Merging
Merging is the process of consolidating two strategies into a single strategy (limited to one new strategy per merge operation). The merging conditions are as follows:
- Only positions of the same currency can be merged;
- After merging, the strategy satisfies and ;
- Contracts have not entered into the state of expiration settlement.
- The position size for a single merged position cannot exceed the maximum position limit (10,000 BTC, 100,000 ETH);
- If there are netting positions to be matched during the merge, they will be netted off at the mark price, and no fees will be generated.
